FastFood Burger Championship's (FFBC) Burgermania - Fatal Four Way Burger Flagship Title

Wendy's 3/4 Pound VS McD's Big Mac VS Carl's Jr Superstar VS BK's Whopper
--

Wendy's 3/4 Pounder is like Randy Orton. New, fresh, cut, and is one BAD (in a good way) chunk of meat.

McDonald's Big Mac, the original superburger is like Hulk Hogan. Immortal.

Carl's Jr's Superstar is like the Hearbreak Kid Shawn Michaels. Sexy, pretty, and packs on hell of a kick.

Burger King's Whopper is like Triple H. It good and meaty, but there's just so much you can do with a grilled patty

---
The winner?.. You tell me.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull - 3 stars

"Raiders" left us saying Cool!, "Temple Of Doom" left us cheering Yay!, "The Last Crusade" left us on our feet to a standing ovation, and "Crystal Skull" left me thinking of Stargate and old X-Files episodes. Kinda sad really. But heck, it's Indiana Jones!

Note: Keep your eyes peeled for The Lost Ark!

Reese's NutRageous!

Mmmmmm...recently discovered this yummy chocolate bar at the nearby supermarket after seeing a guy scramble for it (and Kinder Bueno bars..) and I must say its YUMMILICIOUS! I highly recommend this to those who love nuts in their candy bar. Looks like Snickers has a worthy opponent finally!~

--

NutRageous is a chocolate bar made by the Hershey Company. It consists of Reese's Peanut Butter topped with roasted peanuts and caramel covered with milk chocolate

Developed as a candy bar loosely based on the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, NutRageous was first sold in 1994. NutRageous is similar to the Baby Ruth and Snickers candy bars in its makeup. All three of these chocolate bars use caramel, peanuts, and an outer coating of milk chocolate. Baby Ruth and NutRageous share a lumpy texture on top of the bar produced by the chocolate covered peanuts. NutRageous, however, utilizes Reese's Peanut Butter for the center instead of nougat. This results in a candy bar that is both distinct from similar candy bars, but can directly compete with them using its familiar palate NutRageous has yet to gain the sort of widespread popularity enjoyed by Snickers, Baby Ruth, or the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
A NutRageous bar cross-section.

However, in general, double-blind taste tests show that consumers prefer this candy bar to many of its competitors. Some analysts believe that the name "NutRageous" is too childish, and although the bright orange and blue wrapper stands out, it is too visually loud for the average consumer. Those analysts feel that if Hershey Company had chosen "Acclaim," along with an effective long-term advertising campaign and a better color scheme, the NutRageous bar could easily be as popular as many more well-known confections due to its delicious flavor.

Movie log: Footloose / Some Kind Of Wonderful / What Happens In Vegas

Footloose - 3.5 stars

Took me 20 plus years to finally watch this one... and it was well worth it.

Return to the Highlands

A quick break whilst returning to Cameron Highlands proved to be a worthwhile getaway. Sure, there ain't 'much' to do there (shopping, partying, entertainment...) but it sure was peaceful and stress relieving. Activities at the getaway included pigging out at the local scones/tea cafes, visiting one of the tea plantations & night market, walking about Tanah Rata and Brinchang and unexpectedly... jungle trekking.

The journey from PJ --> Cameron Highlands took over 3 hours. 2 hours to Simpang Pulai then another hour plus to climb up 70kms of winding road and the Pahang state line. This is where the fun began. Cutting lorries, buses, and good ol' Sunday drivers made time pass quicker. The winding roads are where the beauty of Kara shows. Her handling for corners were super. Love to ascend/descend those curvy bits of tarmac with ease. Woots for Proton!

The air in the morning is wonderfully fresh but smog from the damn local farm jeeps and tour buses really do spoil the mood. That aside, the breeze throughout the day was pretty pleasant. Found a pretty good jungle trek path unexpectedly whilst exploring Tanah Rata and decided to explore further (Indiana Jones fever is in the air..). The trek was pretty alright and not as strenuous as earlier thought. The cool air and the sound of Robinson Waterfall made the trek a whole lot more better. Didn't manage to complete the trek, but heck I;ll make sure I bring the rest of the boys and we're gonna conquer it.

After much dining of tea and scones, it was time to come back home to the warm stuff air of the Klang Valley. Oh well... Camerons is definitely a great place to run to for a quick getaway. I'll be back here again someday soon. :)

Coming and Goings

A song from RAPR to me:

--

Desert loving in your eyes all the way
If I listen to your lies would you say
Im a job without conviction
Im a job who doesnt know
How to sell a contradiction
You come and go
You come and go

Karma karma karma karma karma chameleon
You come and go
You come and go
Loving would be easy if your passion were like my dream
R A P R
R A P R

Didnt hear your wicked words every day
And you used to be so sweet I heard you say
That my job was an addiction
When we cling our love is strong
When you go, you're gone forever
You string along
You string along

Every day is like a survival
You're my worker not my rival
Every day is like a survival
You're my worker not my rival

Im a job without conviction
Im a job who doesnt know
How to sell a contradication
You come and go
You come and go

Movie log: Xanadu

Xanadu - 2 stars

Despite the great special effects in 1980, this movie feels like its getting high on dope at times and sober on others. Should be better translated on Broadway though.

Solitude Interrupted

The steam room is a place in the gym where one relaxes and rests their mind in totally carefree environment where its just you and your towel. I love using the steam room after a hard days work & workout. Its one place where i can sit down, close my eyes, relax and feel the stress of life escape from my body. This was not the case last night.

After settling down with my towel and got myself into a state of serenity, three $#@$ whom I have not seen before in the gym came in. It was all good and fine until the steam room (my four walls of solitude) became a freaking mamak stall (minus the food). These three idiots kept yakking and yakking talking about some girl who one of them should bring to Zouk in order to 'make it happen'. Blablabla. They laughed as though it was their own private party room. Inconsiderate f**ks! One of them even belted out "Its too late to apologize...". Bloody hell! A couple of other regulars were in the steam room as well. And it could be seen that they were not too pleased. Gosh. They didnt stop.

After finishing my interrupted 10 minutes in my four walls of solitude, I went out, cooled down, and went to the shower. As soon as I closed the shower door, the three idiots came out of the steam room and proceeded to the shower cubicles next to me and continued blaberring. GAGH!

End of rant.
